This deliverable presents the approaches adopted to achieve wafer-level photolithographic synthesis of DNA zipcodes directly on biosensor surfaces, as part of BIOASSEMBLER’s scalable manufacturing technology.
The report describes the integration and adaptation of the optical exposure and reagent delivery systems, alongside the optimisation of chemical conditions compatible with sensor materials and large-area fabrication. It addresses key technical challenges in transferring nucleic acid photolithography to semiconductor-based biosensor fabrication, contributing to the development of a scalable assembly process for multiplexed biosensors.
