BioAssembler discussed in Biosensors 2025

Biosensors 2025, the “premier event for the biosensor community and the largest in the field“, celebrated its 35th anniversary last May (19–22) in Lisbon, Portugal. BioAssembler could not miss the opportunity to share and discuss part of our work at this milestone congress.

The event took place just days after our successful Advance Training Course, and CES team member Kristen Connor spent the four days continuing the rich conversations on deep interdisciplinarity and the many ways the Social Sciences and Humanities (SSH) can contribute to biosensing research and innovation.

While presenting the poster “Science Meets Society: The Value of SSH in EU Biosensor R&I and Market Research“, Kristen engaged with students, researchers, and industry partners eager to learn more about these perspectives. This exchange with the broader biosensor community also fed into CES’s ongoing work on analyzing the socioeconomic impacts of biosensor development – insights that have been integrated into one of the project’s deliverables.

We will be sharing that work soon. In the meantime, you can explore more about CES’s contributions by browsing through our poster:
